Tom
Argue, visited Fred Watmough in the Queen Charlotte Islands, and he brought the coral and mammoth ivory into
Tom's life. Tom's own style was quick to emerge, beautiful flowing lines,
enhancing what nature formed. |
 |
Tom's
father was in the Canadian Army over seas when he met Tom's mother. Born in
Southern Germany, an army brat, Tom spoke 3 languages by age 3 and had lived
in more places than most people have visited. |
 |
It
was as an adult that Tom moved to BC and the ocean began to play a part in his
life. Living on the Southern tip of Vancouver Island, and now the Queen
Charlotte Islands, Tom is surrounded by, relaxes, works, travels on and loves
this ocean.
|
 |
Tom
spends his evenings and weekends working with the coral. He collects his raw
materials for future endeavors and sketches inspirations for that may end up
to be new pieces. |
 |
Most of Tom's creations
to this point are jewelry in the coral and mammoth (fossil) ivory, as
well as hairpieces in the Yew wood. He has been looking with interest to the
limestone and other materials, so watch for updates. |
Keep checking back, we will be updating.
